Seabridge School is an independent school in Sedgefield offering a supportive, engaging learning environment from Grade R through to Cambridge AS Level.
Small classes allow us to know our learners as individuals, provide meaningful academic support and encourage each learner to develop confidence, independence and curiosity.
Our Curriculum
Seabridge provides a clear academic pathway from Grade R through to Cambridge International AS Level, combining the South African curriculum in the earlier grades with internationally recognised Cambridge programmes in the senior years. Students wishing to continue to A Level may also remain at Seabridge for Grade 13, where we provide a supportive environment for independent study.
Grades R–9
South African Curriculum
Learners follow the South African National Curriculum (CAPS), building strong foundations in core academic subjects while developing practical skills, independence and confidence.
Grade 12
Cambridge International AS Level
Learners continue with Cambridge International AS Level, developing greater subject depth and preparing for tertiary study.

Cambridge International A Level
Students wishing to continue to Cambridge International A Level may remain at Seabridge for Grade 13.
At this level, students work largely independently, with Seabridge providing a supportive learning environment, academic guidance and assistance where required.
Learning beyond the classroom
At Seabridge, learning extends beyond textbooks and classrooms. Our location on the Garden Route provides exceptional opportunities for practical learning, fieldwork and exploration of the natural environment.
We encourage learners to become curious, independent thinkers who can apply what they learn to the world around them.
